Marvin E. Mauldin, 67, of Savannah, GA died Saturday August 14, 2004 at Hospice Savannah after a courageous 2 Ú year battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde E. Mauldin and Sarah Rebecca Hunnicutt Mauldin Proctor. He was born in Gainesville, GA, and grew up in Jefferson, GA. He graduated in 1955 from Jefferson High School. He was a veteran of the US Army with 11 years of service and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant with Company A, 726th Tank Battalion. Marvin retired in 2000 after 35 years of service with Western Electric, AT&T & Lucent Tech. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Coastal Scottish Heritage Society where he was on the Savannah Scottish Games Committee, Clan Donald USA where he held the Computer Chair of the Genealogy Committee, Scottish American Military Society (Hugh McKay Post # 7) , CWA Union, the Savannah Woodchoppers Club and George K. G anem American Legion Post # 184, in Thunderbolt, GA.
