MEDFORD MAN DIES
AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Thomas Miller, 79 years old, died last Saturday after an extended illness. Funeral services were held at the E. A. Miller home Monday afternoon and interment made in Rosemound cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born at Fairfield, Iowa, September 20, 1848. He was united in marriage to Hattie E. Gimple in February 1878 and to this union six children were, three girls and three boys.
He moved with his family to Jewell county, Kansas, where he lived eight years, then moved to Grant county. he lived on a farm northwest of Medford until 1913 when he moved to Medford.
His wife died in 1917. Since then he has made his home with his son and daughter. He leaves five children, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
The following children survive: Mrs. Art Privett, Mrs. Vera Biggerstaff, Mrs. Walter Waldie, Glee Miller and E. A. Miller.
