She was born near New England on April 19, 1859, and had spent her entire life in Wood county, having resided a Washington Bottom during the past 50 years. She was a member of Bethany Christian church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Grace Springer, Parkersburg; one son, Grady R. Massey, Columbus, O; four grandsons, Richard Massey, Columbus; Dennis Massey, St. Louis, MO. Vernice Springer of Oak Hill and Vincent Springer...(illegible)...children and several cousins. Two sons preceded her in death.
The body has been received by the Leavitt funeral home.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethany Christain church the Rev. Logan Martin officiating and burial will be in the church cemetery.
