Mary Catherine was a wife and mother raising her children on a farm. I'm sure it wasn't an easy life. Not many women had easy lives back then.
She was a strong woman. Her children were; Hubert, Claude, Nola, Maude, Dora, Lois, Eura, and twins Sarah and America. Her twins died in infancy.
She was an excellent mother, who made sure her children were well educated. They were well spoken, every word was enunciated properly and an accent was not tolerated. I have great respect for her.
Mary Catherine died in French Valley, Russell County, KY.
I didn't know her, I wish I had.
