As Robert Glasscock stilled owned his land in Mecklenburg County Virginia I would expect that he is buried here on the family land . 1818 Roberts first wife had died and he had two daughters names unknow and one had a son named Thomas ? . 1835 he married Nancy LIgon and they had one son named George W. Glasscock born March 1839 and died 4 April 1859 .

28 January 1840 Nancy Ligon Glasscock married Thomas Howel . They had a number of children . Thomas Howel death 12 April 1859 Cleveland County North Carolina . Nancy married Cornelius Weatherman 24 March 1869 ,he died 9 April 1870 Cleveland County North Carolina , Nancy died 20 January 1896 Mitchell County North Carolina .

Robert Glasscock of Chesterfield County Virginia enlisted as Fifer in the 15th Virginia Regiment and three years later was discharged from the 5th Virginia Regiment . Moved with his family to Mecklenburg County Virginia about 1780 . Married a Mecklenburg woman name unknown .
