LEVESQUE – Died in this city, Jan 31, Thadde Levesque. Funeral from the home of his daughter, Mrs Albert J. Richer, 104 Ash St., at 8 o'clock Saturday morning, followed by a solemn High Mass of Requiem at 9 o'clock in St. Louis de Gonzague church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Obituary, The Nashua Telegraph, Tues., Jan. 31, 1939:

Thadde Levesque, well known resident of this city for more than 40 years, died this morning following a week's illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs Albert J. Richer, 104 Ash st. He was born in St Pacome P Q, July 2, 1856.
He is survived by two sons, Jean B. Levesque of this city, Zebedee Levesque of Leominster, three daughters, Mrs Lumina Desjardins of St Pacome P Q, Mrs Albert J. Richer and Mrs Alma Guilmain of this city, 20 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a brother Joseph of St Pacome and a sister Marie Levesque of Leominster.
Relatives and friends may call at the home after 3 Wednesday to view the body.

Funeral, The Nashua Telegraph, Mon., Feb. 6, 1939:

Funeral services for Thedde Levesque were held at 9 Saturday morning in St Louis de Gonzague church before a very large attendance of relatives and friends, many coming from out of town. A solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated by Rev Wilfred Richer assisted by Rev Adelard Halde as deacon and Rev Ernest Gagnon as sub deacon. Floral tributes and spiritual bouquets were many and beautiful, testifying to the esteem in which the deceased was held by his many friends.
Bearers were the deceased's six grandchildren: Ernest, Albert, Wilfred and Arthur Levesque, Ernest and Armand Guilmain.
Burial was in the family lot in St Louis de Gonzague cemetery. Committal prayers were said by Rev Fr Richer. P. L. Robichaud & Son was the undertaker and funeral director.
Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were: Rev Fr Richer, Marguerite Richer, Florida Richer, all of Manchester; Mr and Mrs Denis Caron of Leominster, Mass; Mr and Mrs George Levesque, Remi Levesque, of Fitchburg; Mrs Francois Levesque, Mr and Mrs Auguste Levesque, Leominster, Mass; Lydia Levesque, Eugene Levesque, Mr and Mrs Eugene Hudon of Anthony, R I; Mrs Marie Bourrassa of Lawrence; Henri Richer, Albert Richer of Malden; Denis Leclaire, Fitchburg; Mrs Narcisse Levesque, Marguerite Levesque, Mr and Mrs Florent Levesque and Alice Valle, all of Leominster.
