Funeral services for Mrs. David Cozier, 71, who died at her home at Elk Rapids Friday afternoon following a long illness, will be conducted Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Elk Rapids Methodist church, Rev. William Slack officiating. Burial will be made in Maple Grove cemetery, Sarah Ann Ellsworth was born September 29, 1870, at Wheeler. She was united in marriage to David Cozier August 26, 1888, and to this union were born six children, four of whom preceded her in death. With her family she came to Antrim county in 1897 and settled on a farm in Milton township, moving to Elk Rapids in 1907 which had since been her home. Mrs. Cozier was a lifelong member of the Methodist church. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Needham of Saginaw; a son Gordon Cozier of Baltimore, Md.; one brother; five grandchildren and many friends. The body will remain at the Dockery funeral home, Elk Rapids, until the time of services.
