George E. Fine, 84, of Grand Ledge died July 21, 1995. Mr. Fine was a long-time area resident; a retired Grand Ledge Clay Products employee( after 26 years of service); and member of First Congregational United Church in Christ, where he was active in the Meals on Wheels program.
Survivors include his wife, Ella; sons, Robert (Marlene) of Grandledge and George of Chattanooga, Tennesse; daughters, Maralyn(Leon)Hufnagel of Marlette and Barbara(Thomas)Martin of Lansing; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren and 20 step- great grandchildren.
Services were held July 24, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Grand Ledge. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Hilihan-Akins Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
Contributions may be made to the Grand Ledge Senior Citizens Activity Center.
