John F. Kennedy, 78, of 335 Palisado Ave., Windsor, died at his home Wednesday. Born in New Britain, he lived in Hartford most of his life. Before moving to Windsor four years ago, he lived in Hyannis, Mass., 10 years. He leaves a son, George F. Kennedy, fire marshall for the town of Windsor; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 8:15 a.m. at the Merwin, Leek and Sheehan Funeral Home, 35 Poquonock Ave., followed by a Requiem High Mass at St. Gabriel's Church at 9. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
