Frederick "Fred" E. Lautzenheiser, 89, Lincoln, died Thursday (2/23/2006). Born Feb. 23, 1917, in the house his father built, to Emma and Delbert Lautzenheiser.
Memberships: Masonci Lodge 54, Scottish Rite, Sesostris Shrine. Occupations: television engineer for KOLN/KGIN; Lincoln Police Department, mobile radios division; real estate owner and manager. Loved antique and classic cars, flying in World War II airplanes. Loved animals and international travel.
Frederick attended Principia in St. Louis, Mo., and was a 1935 graduate of Lincoln High School. Also graduated from radio schools Kansas City and Minnesota.
Survivors: wife of 68 years, Verna; daughters, Barbara, South Glastonbury, Conn., Charlene, Lincoln; brother, Clarence, Medina, Texas.
Burial in Wyuka cemetery.
