Daughter of James Peter Pattle and his wife, Adeline Marie (de l'Etang) Pattle. Married Lieutenant General Colin Mackenzie on May 28, 1832, in London, England. They had three daughters. She and their children were going to return to England. In April 1836 they the boarded the S.S. Catherine in Calcutta, India for the return voyage to England. She became ill and died on May 28, 1836, and was buried at sea.
