New Boston, Texas-- Eva Marie Allison, 99,of Mesquite, Texas, died Wednesday, April 2,2008, in a Mesquite nursing home. Mrs. Allison was born October 11,1908, in Helena, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Allison; and two sons, A.W. Allison and Marvin Allison. Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Stevenson of Mesquite; one sister, Irene Aikin of Electra, Texas; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Debbie and Sam Halbert of Rowlett, Texas and Rebecca and Bill Marble of Little Elm, Texas; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, James and Kim Stevenson of Canton, Texas; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today in Center Ridge Cemetery, Maud, Texas, with Jim Birt officiating, under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.
