Mrs. Minnie Baker, 82, life long resident of Macedon Center entered into rest Friday, Dec. 8, at her home there. Minnie Belle Hadden was born in the family home northeast of Macedon Center in 1868. She was a graduate of Macedon Academy, Valedictorian of the class of 1887. That same summer,on July 31, 1887, she became a member of Macedon Center Methodist Church and retained her member-ship through the years. She was also a member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service. On Dec. 20, 1893 she was united in marriage to John W Baker, who preceded her in death by several years. Mrs. Baker lived all her years in the home where she was born. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Mabel Baker, one son, Glen, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Macedon. Rey. Frank Q. Beebe, pastor of Macedon Center Methodist Church Officiated. Burial at Macedon Center Cemetery.
