My grandmother died in a nursing home in Fayetteville, NC. My mother had to place her in the nursing home beacuse my mother was physically unable to care for her. My grandmother was diabetic and had lost a leg just above the knee and Dr. E.C. Bennett would not release her to return to my mother's home. He said my mother would be dead before her mother if she were to attempt caring for her.
