OBITUARY-THE DORCHESTER STAR
SEPTEMBER 20, 1923
Delbert L. Lautzenheiser was born in Edinburg, Illinois December 1, 1872 and passed away in the Lincoln hospital, at 11:50 a.m., September 12, 1923. Christian Science funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Roberts' Chapel conducted by Mr. Speidell. Burial was in Wyuka cemetery.
The deceased moved to Nebraska from Illinois with his parents when young and grew to manhood in the locality northwest of Dorchester residing there until ten or twelve years ago when he moved to Lincoln. His many friends here are grieved to learn of his untimely end.
He leaves to mourn, his wife, Emma Semler-Lautzenheiser and two small sons, Frederick and Clarence, his mother Mrs. A. E. Lautzenheiser, two brothers, Allen and Ira of Dorchester, two sisters Mrs. Hattie Fender of Thomas, Okla. and Mrs. Maud Nelson of Dorchester, and many other relatives and friends.
