Duane James Dean, 58, husband of Stacy Griffith Dean, Went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
A resident and native of Greenville, he was a son of the late Bobby Joe Dean and the late Sarah Marcelle Redden Dean. Duane was a loving husband, uncle, and great uncle who loved working on family tree research, being around all of his family and friends, and reminiscing about his time working at the firehouse. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and local racing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a niece, Selena Eddleman; a nephew, Joey Eddleman (Allie); great nieces, Crystal Lynn Wyatt (Austin), Kyleigh Stephens, and Kayleigh Eddleman; great nephews, Christopher Wyatt (Jessica), Dalton Eddleman, Brentlee Eddleman, and Rileigh Eddleman.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Anita Eddleman
