Mrs. Jaques was born in Dassel, Minnesota, and had lived there until moving to Polk County in 1927. She was a homemaker and had attended Berwick Congregational Church. She enjoyed picnics and home canning with her friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Jaques of Berwick; a son, Dennis of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Habilitation Center in Johnston.
