Douglas Fairbanks "Doug" Clymer, 62, of Watson Street in Reidsville died Sunday, July 8, 1990, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.

His funeral was held at Reidsville Missionary Alliance Church of which he was a member. Burial was in Reidlawn Cemetery .

The son of Cecil Savage Clymer Sr. and Pearl Jarman Clymer, Doug was a Reidsville native and a World War II veteran. He was purchasing manager at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital and previously worked at Macfield in Reidsville.

Survivors included his wife, Dorothy Watkins Clymer of the home, and two sons, Butch and Brian Clymer. He was also survived by brother Cecil Savage "June" Clymer Jr., and two sisters, Margaret Clymer and Wanda Clymer Blake, all of Reidsville.
