James Brand Jr., 77, a self-employed home builder, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at a Fort Worth care center.
Memorial service: to be scheduled at a later date.
James was born Dec. 12, 1924, in Griffith Switch, Texas. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Rest peacefully Dear father;
Together again with our Dear
Mother. We'll miss you both
dearly; Yet will meet again
that's clear.
Love your children,
grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Brand, Nov. 23, 1995.
Survivors: Daughters, Alice Balandran and Juanita Brand, both of Fort Worth and Susan Privitt of Largo, Fla.; sons, Jimmy Brand of St. Petersburgh, Fla. and Harold Brand and Harvey Brand, both of Fort Worth., Gary Brand of St. Petersburgh, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
