Donald M. Rosenberger 75, of Arbors at Safety Harbor FL, formerly of Austintown OH, died Monday Jan. 11 1999 at the home. He was born Nov. 27 1923 in Struthers OH, a son of Charles M. and Cloyd R. (Emery) Rosenberger, and retired to Florida 23 years ago.

Donald had managed/operated Red Barn and Howard Johnsons restaurants while living in the Youngstown OH area. He had also worked for the Chrysler Corp., Youngstown Sheet & Tube Corp. and Boardman Furnace Co. In Florida, he worked part time for Redington Long Pier. He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran.

Among others, he left his wife, the former Catherine M. Gibson, to whom he was married 56 1/2 years; three sons Donald "Butch" S. of Poland OH, Charles J. of Oldsmar FL and Ralph R. Rosenberger of Tampa FL; a daughter Mrs. Betty Elsesser of Palm Harbor FL; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Three brothers Ralph R. of Boardman OH, Charles S. of Pinellas FL and Frederick D. Rosenberger , and a sister Mrs. Betty L. (Rosenberger) Elgin of L.I. NY, preceded him.

Friends called at the funeral home. Contributions in his name were made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, Largo FL Services were at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, Seminole FL. Interment was in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery. Submitted by DMWorrel
