"Mrs. Agnes Ann Blott, 73, died last Friday night at her home on W. Main street. She had been ailing for some time but the day before her death was able to visit the business district. Suddenly stricken she passed away within a few hours. Born in Missouri June 3, 1859, she came to Ohio when quite young and passed most of her life in and near Canfield. She was twice married, her first husband being Andrew Corll, who died years ago by whom she had the following surviving children; Mrs. Chloe Bishop, West Austintown; Mrs. Clarence Held, Struthers; and John Corll, Woodworth. She also leaves seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother, Bert Zedaker, two sisters, Mrs. Edward Ipe and Mrs. Rena Lindsey, all of Youngstown. Her second husband, Nathan Blott, died suddenly a few years since. She was a devoted member of the Methodist church and Ladies' Aid Society. Funeral services Monday afternoon held from the Methodist church were conducted by Rev. G. C. Cornell. Burial in the village cemetery beside her husband and daughter, Miss Eva, who passed away some years ago."
