The daughter of J.K. Flynn and Ethel Flynn, she was born March 11, 1931, in St. John, Kan., and moved to Missouri in the winter of 1938. Ada grew up in Ava.
She was a homemaker and retired from Fasco after 10 years of service. Ada was a member of the Chadwick First Pentecostal Church.
On Dec. 26, 1953, Ada and Raymond Hargis were united in marriage in Ava. To this union six children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Paul David; one daughter, Wanda Darlene; a granddaughter, Christy; and a great-grandson, Dakota.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Hargis, Fordland; four daughters and their husbands, ..... 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother,... one sister, ...
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, with the Rev. Leo Harmon officiating. Burial was in Union Chapel Cemetery.
