Billie Maxine Parks, 76, of Muskogee, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Grace Living Center. She was born December 19, 1931 in Muskogee to John and Ora (Shoemake) Parker.Billie enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing the piano and guitar and singing. She also enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo. She played baseball and softball throughout her life.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter Lee Parks and daughter Cherry Lee Wickett. She is survived by five children, Karen S. Cunningham and her husband, James D., of Muskogee, Walter Lee Parks, Jr. and his wife, Sheryl of Okay, Malinda A. Parks, of Muskogee, Jack R. Parks and his wife, Martha, of Muskogee and Rocky Joe Parks, and his wife, Terry, of Muskogee; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John W. Parker, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Cedar Key, Florida and Jerry Lee Parker and his wife, Peggy, of Sapulpa; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and one special friend, Gretta Love.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery with Pastor Clint Wheat officiating. Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren, Rhonda Fulton, Amy Fletcher, Keri Glass, Heather Cunningham, Dustin Givens, Allando Ousley, Shelby Jackson, Christopher Parks, Daniel Parks, James Cunningham, Michael Glass, Dustin Glass and Anthony Bevilacqua.
