She was born Oct. 27, 1925, in Buffalo, daughter of the late Ezra and Lena (Dolan) Davis. Mrs. Kirkbride retired from N.C.R. attended Valley Local Schools and enjoyed fishing, automobile rides, and playing bingo. She was a dog lover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half sisters, Juanita and Melba; one half brother, Willard. She is survived by her husband, Sam Kirkbride, whom she married Aug 6, 1945; one son,Danny (Carol) Kirkbride of Alban; one daughter, Linda Moore of Walhonding; four grandchildren, Danny K. (Ashley) and Donnie K. (Shelly) Kirkbride, Jody (Kenny) Clark and Christy (Christopher) Lowry.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where services will be 1 p.m. Thursday with Mark Beros officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.
