James Merle Morris was the son of John Henry and Vera Grace (Grimes) Morris. He was the twin of John Earl Morris. James and John were actually born and died September 18, 1932, not 1933. They were born prematurely. One of the twins was stillborn and the other lived approximately six hours. The men in the family climbed into the bed of a pickup with the twins and drove to the Douglass cemetery and buried them. I know this story because they were my uncles. My mother, Joan, was their sister. My maternal grandmother, Grace, (their mother) told me the story.
