October 25, 1951 — June 1, 2019
Paul E. "Cubby" Berhow, age 67, of Truman, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2019 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Fairmont. The family is planning a Celebration of Paul's Life on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 3-6 PM at Paul's shop at his home in Truman. Paul Ernest Berhow was born on October 25, 1951 to Arva Clement and Ardis Marie (Cassem) Berhow in Fairmont. He graduated from Fairmont High School and was honorably discharged from the US Army. He married Vickie Lee Kesler on October 6, 1979 and to this union two sons were born. He most recently worked as the Assistant Plant Manager for Prairieland Waste Management in Truman, retiring on January 2, 2017. Paul filled his retirement fishing, putzing in his shop (including sweeping the floor multiple times a day, which drove Vickie crazy). Paul will be remembered for always being willing to help friends and family. He absolutely adored his grandchildren. He was a car enthusiast and an avid Vikings fan.
Paul is survived by his wife, Vickie Berhow, of Truman; sons, Nate Berhow of Anchorage, AK and Nick (Reanne) Berhow of Mankato; four grandchildren, Madison, Rheese, Rayland and Ryker; brother, Perry (Val) Berhow of Fairmont; other relatives, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arva and Ardis Berhow and sister, Patricia "Patsy" Berhow.
