Maurice G. Greever, 76 of Champaign passed away at 8:30 p.m. Monday (April 28, 2008) at Heartland Health Services, Champaign.
Mr. Greever was born September 24, 1931, in Newman, a son of Max and Ida Calpruna Miller Greever. He married Betty Pyle on July 6, 1951, in Indianapolis. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Rick Greever of Las Vegas, Nev., and Randy Greever of Monticello; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Vickey Wingate, and one grandson.
Mr. Greever worked as a carpenter for the University of Illinois.
