JENKS— Alice; at the Lutheran Nursing Home in Owen Sound on Thursday evening, February 22nd, 1990. The former Alice Hawes of 1050 4th Avenue A West in Owen Sound. Wife of George Melville Jenks. Mother of Leonard of Cairo Egypt, Lois (Mrs. Peter Heritage) of Maple Ridge B.C. and Ruth Anne (Mrs. Robert Henderson) of Owen Sound. Grandmother of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sister of Walter of Gooderham, Alfred of Toronto, Harriet (Mrs Laurie Johnston) of Stratford, Doris Patterson of Kirkland Lake and Donald Simpson of Ottawa. Predeceased by two brothers David and Frank and four sisters Agnes (Mrs. William Mundy), Jessie (Mrs. William Lince), Florence and Dorothy. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home from 2:00 o'clock on Sunday afternoon until Monday morning, thence to St George's Anglican Church where a service will be held at 11:00 o'clock. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
