Westfield resident Michael D. Fields, went to be with Jesus on Christmas morning, 2021. As he entered the hospital on December 1st, this was a short illness from a pneumonia infection. Mike was born in Harper Woods, MI on March 21, 1971.

Mike attended Taylor University, graduating Cum Laude in 1993. Over the last 28 years he became a well-known, liked and trusted advisor for hundreds in the Indianapolis area and beyond. As a young professional he earned his CFP® designation and subsequently evolved his own financial services firm, Comprehensive Retirement Solutions in Carmel, IN. In 2016 Mike opened CRS Tax Solutions and became an EA with the IRS.

Mike's natural mentor spirit led him to create a firm that developed advisors for the next generation. Mike spent many years serving the community in various roles, including Regional Advisory Board for the Academy of Finance Central Indiana, as a budget counselor for Grace Community Church, Finance Advisory Board for Ball State University, President of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana and even ran the sound board for his local church.

Mike's radio voice was often complimented by his gentle soft-spoken voice of reason. He was empathetic, dedicated to friends and family and considered his clients personal friends. Mike was a fun-loving family man who loved sci-fi books and movies, extensive traveling and a bombastic use of sarcasm. He longed to be a pilot throughout his youth and made that goal a reality in his 30's becoming a private pilot, earning his VFR.

Mike was a joyful person who made friends easily. Even as a young man he always seemed to draw his circle of friendship large enough to include people of varying backgrounds. Mike loved spending time with family and was especially grateful for his roles as husband and father, providing many memorable adventures and travel for his enthusiastic young family. Mike was faithful in his Christianity, dedicated in service over the last 25 years to Grace Community Church Noblesville, Central Christian Church Carmel (Thrive) and most recently, ITOWN Church Fishers.

Wherever Mike went, there was laughter and celebration of the joy in living. He and Tifney filled their home with hospitality and grace. Mike will be greatly missed by his family, his many faithful clients and a host of lifelong friends.

Mike is survived by his wife of 15 years, Tifney; daughter Adria, 13, and son Mitchell, 11. Parents, Marvin and Lillian Fields; Brother, Matthew Fields and family; and Sister, Elizabeth Spitznagle and family.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held at Traders Point Christian Church North, 1242 W. 136th St., Carmel, IN 46032 on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Family visitation will be from 9:00am-11:00am. Open visitation will be from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Services will begin promptly at 1:00pm.
