He was born March 12, 1943, the son of Roy Sr. and Pauline (nee Schmerbauch) Lewis.
He served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1984. He was employed at Naval Air Weapons, China Lake, Ridgecrest, California.
He is survived by his mother, Pauline; one daughter, Theresa; three sons, Daniel, Michael, and Jon; one brother, Rick; three sisters, Pat, Julie, and Cathy; one granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy "Shorty" Lewis who died March 14, 2001.
After Military Rites with the US Navy Honor Guard, China Lake, California, Mr. Lewis was buried at sea in California.
