On Monday, January 22, 2024, almost 38 years to the day, Mina "Lynn" (Sisco) Colvin joined her beloved spouse, David "Dave" Colvin in heaven. Lynn was born on March 1, 1950, in Berryville Arkansas to Claude and Nana Faye (Patton) Sisco. She grew up with her seven siblings in the community of Rock House, where family was not only by blood. Lynn attended Eureka Springs Public schools and returned to get her GED in 1992.


She had many roles in her lifetime: Daughter to Claude and Faye, Sister to Jim, Sharon, Janice, Jo, Joanie, Mary and David. Chaperone to David and Becky. Wife to Dave. Mother to Abbie. Mother-in-law to Ray. Gran to Jordan. Aunt to many. Sunday school teacher, friend, Tyson employee for 40 plus years and cancer survivor.


Lynn was united in marriage to Dave Colvin on October 15, 1971. After he passed away in 1986, she would still sign his name with her at all weddings and funerals. They've never really been separated.


Lynn was a great cook. She enjoyed watching Gun Smoke and Wagon Train. Loved to read romance novels. She collected angels and loved her dogs. Lynn was a huge Conway Twitty fan and went to see him perform many times with sister Joanie. She also enjoyed listening to many different gospel groups.


Lynn Colvin is preceded in death by her by parents Claude and Nana Faye (Patton) Sisco, daughter Abbie Jane Pflueger, brother James Sisco, sister Mary Bohannan and her husband Elmer, sister Linda (Jo) Ray and her husband Bob, sister Carolyn (Joanie) Sharp and her husband Joe, brother-in-law George Clark and a fur baby "Bear".


Lynn is survived by her son-in-law Ray Pflueger of Eureka Springs Arkansas, grandson Jordan Pflueger of Eureka Springs Arkansas, twin brother David Sisco and his wife Rebecca of Berryville Arkansas, sister Janice Clark of Eureka Springs Arkansas, sister Sharon Ashcraft and her husband Chester of Wichita Kansas, sister-in-law Martha Dean Sisco, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at Rockhouse Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Rockhouse Cemetery, c/o Jimmy Clark, 1381 CR 509, Eureka Springs, AR 72632 to help with cemetery upkeep. Arrangements under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
