Waclaw Marcin Trojanek of Glendale, Arizona passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on August 18, 2023, after a short stay in hospice.

He was born on August 6, 1947 in Strzelce Krajenskie, Poland to Roman Trojanek and Aniela Gamon. Waclaw immigrated from Poland in 1965 to Chicago, Illinois for a short time before residing in Arizona for the last 51 years.

He was a naturally talented craftsman who used his passion to add a second story to his family's forever home. He cherished memories of his family going to Laughlin, theme parks, and sailing on cruises. If you lost Waclaw, you would find him at the Keno Slots. He was not a silent man as you could hear him coming from a mile away blasting his polka and country music!

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sophie Trojanek, his 12 children: Walter, Angeline, Casimier, Andrew, Rosemary, Romona, Roman, Richard, Michael, Michele, Anthony, and Mary, as well as 29 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren (with another on the way), and his sister Ewa Pak.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Andrew and John, and his granddaughter Loren.

A visitation for Waclaw will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary service to begin at 6:30 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Helen's Catholic Church (5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale, AZ 85304) with burial at Resthaven Park Cemetery to follow.
