Inez P. Schollian, 85, of Bolivar died at 12:09 a.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar after a sudden illness.
She was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Tiptonville, Tenn., the daughter of Thomas E. Troughber and Eva McGuire Troughber.
She was a homemaker most of her life and was a saleslady in retail stores in her earlier years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Bolivar.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Edward "Lew" Schollian on Jan. 2, 2008; her four brothers, R.B. Troughber, twin brother Edgar Troughber, J.B. Troughber and Marlin Troughber; and a half-sister, Beatrice Pride.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar with the Rev. Gary Ankrom officiating. Music will be "We Will Ride" by Danny Hitchcock, "I'll Fly Away," "You May Look For Me For I'll Be There," and "Where The Soul Never Dies" by Russ and Malinda Batten with Greg Ankrom playing the piano. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar. Pallbearers will be Roy McNeely, Ron Hendrickson, Greg Ankrom, Russ Batten, Dr. Drew Shoemaker, Danny Hitchcock and David Cribbs. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the services at the funeral home.
