She was the grandmother of Bob Barker, host of "The Price Is Right."

According to Alden Publishing Company's 1912 publication "Compendium of History, Reminiscence and Biography," pp. 412-413, Fannie was born at Fort Laramie in Wyoming to "George L. Tackett, a native of Kentucky, of French descent, while her mother was of French and Indian blood."

Per the same source, she married Joseph Hubbard Barker, a Union Civil War veteran, on October 9, 1871 at Fort Randall in South Dakota.
She was the grandmother of Bob Barker, host of "The Price Is Right."
