Mrs. Addie Lowery, Dies at Home East of Jacksonville
Mrs. Addie Lowry,80, died at 4:30 o'clock this morning at the home of a son, Jim Lowry. east of Jacksonville. She had been in failing health for several years and bedfast since April 9.
Mrs. Lowry was born in Shelby Co, MO, near where she died. She was married February 12, 1885, and her husband, Jame S. Lowry died in 1924. She had died on the farm where she had lived for 39 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs Roy Roberts of Jacksonville and Mrs Harbie Roberts of Clarence; two sons, Charlie Lowry of Boulder Colo. and the son near Jacksonville. 12 grandchildren and seven great great children.
The body will remain at the home until the funeral hour. Services will be at 2:00 tomorrow afternoon in Salem Church east of Jacksonville.
