Ms. Shepherd was a member of the Baptist church.
She is survived by her sons, Cecil Ray Shepherd of Donelson, TN, Larry Wayne Shepherd of Dickson and Richard Dean Shepherd of Franklin; daughters, Sarah Bennett of Fairview, Linda Malone of Franklin, Ann Brymer of Franklin and Debbie Shepherd of North Carolina; twenty-one grandchildren; sixty-one great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held November 15, 2004 at Franklin Memorial Chapel with Reverend Bill Owens officiating. Burial followed in Adkison Cemetery in Maury County.
