Joan Wyatt Owens was born May 24, 1940 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma and passed away April 20, 2008 at 5:50 A.M. Sunrise, Sunday. On October 17, 1956 she married Billy Owens in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She worked at Brockway Glass and was a member of Christian Chapel.She is preceded in death by a daughter Debra Williams, her parents Bobby and Vesta Wyatt; grandparents Handy and Verdie Inman.She is survived by her husband Billy Owens; daughters, Brenda Bolding and Lisa Ercanbrack; sons, Danny Owens and Keith Owens; two sisters, Linda Adkins, of Wylie, TX. and Shirley Pennington, of Tulsa OK.; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at Christian Chapel Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 2:00 P.M., Pastor Conrad Barrett will be doing the homecoming services for Joan Owens. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
