FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE ALLWOOD, 68, of Hawthorne died yesterday. Before retiring in 1970 she was the supervising teacher of the Roman Academy, Paterson, for 15 years. She was a member of the Hawthorne United Method- ist Church. Surviving are her husband, J. Robert; a son, J. Robert Jr. of West Milford; a brother, Ronald Nightingale of Hawthorne; five sisters, Elnora De Ritter of Hawthorne, Jean Schroter of Hawthorne, Sally Koniecki of Pompton Plains, Shirley Howard of Oakland, and Dot Sikkema of Glen Rock, and three grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne, with burial in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
