The holy union of Paul and Lucille Simpson Stone was blessed with a baby boy on February 9, 1977, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They named him T.J. Stone. He was the fifth child to this union. T.J. was the smallest of the children, so full of life and well loved. He was favored by all his cousins and was faithful when needed. T.J. graduated from Muskogee High School, where he wrestled and was number one in the state of Oklahoma. He played football and attended Indian Capital Area Vo-Tech where he obtained his certificate in Ground and Maintenance as well as woodwork and carpentry. T.J. was an excellent mechanic. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father and uncle. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Stone Sr. and a sister, Tina M. Stone. The family he leaves behind to cherish their fond memories of him include his mother, Lucille Stone, of the home; brother, Paul Stone, Jr. and sister Sheila M. Chism and husband Michael, both of Muskogee, OK.; Aunts, Grace Sallis, and Ora Mayfield and husband Theoplis, both of Ft. Gibson, OK., and Georgia Reynolds, of Muskogee, OK.; his companion, Talana Swanson and his beloved daughter, Tina Jean Stone, of the home; nephews, Adrian Smith and wife Sparkle, Chris Stone and friend Janessa and Michael A. Chism and friend Ashley, all of Muskogee, OK.; a special friend Kelvin Swanson and friend, Tasha Burkhalter; two great-nieces, Indy Arrie Smith and Keyarrie Smith, both of Muskogee, OK.; two great-nephews Adrian Smith Jr. and Kaden Blaze Smith, both of Muskogee, OK.; along with many other cousins and extended family and friends. Funeral services for T.J. have been set for Saturday, April 26, 2008, 2:00 P.M. at the Ragsdale "Chapel of Respect" with Rev. Walter Brown, Jr. officiating. He will be laid to rest eternally in Booker T. Washington Cemetery.
