Claude William Adcox, age 60, of Osawatomie Kansas died Thursday May 1, 2008 at Indian Meadows in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born on September 15, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Charles Ray and Letha Mae McCord Adcox. He was raised by his second parents Dearel and Helen Adcox. He married Mickey VanVlack Shurtz on May 31, 2002. He worked as a construction worker and he and Mickey owned a flea market. He is survived by his wife Mickey Adcox of Osawatomie, Kansas, two step daughters, Amy VanVlack and Brandy Wisdom, eleven brothers and sisters, four grandchildren: Joseph, Hunter, Sara and Bailey and two grand dogs Sammy and KC.


Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday May 6, 2008 at the Jingo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in LaCygne, Kansas.
