Allison, Jerry L. Found eternal peace on February 12, 2014, age 49, with his wife and daughter by his side. Beloved husband of Yolanda (nee Tynes). Loving father of Zora. Dear son of Robert and Carla Allison. Precious brother of Jill Allison (Texas) and Sean Allison (Illinois). A cherished nephew and cousin, Jerry was deeply loved by all. As a veteran teacher, Jerry relished his role as mentor, coach, and friend to countless students and colleagues. Preceded in death by his adoring grandmother, Hattie Allison. Visitation Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 3 PM-7 PM. Family Hour 6-7 PM at Reid's New Golden Gate Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held February 19, 2014 at the Church of Good Hope United Methodist, 8700 W. Good Hope Rd. at 10 AM. In state 9 AM.
