Gary Dale Wood, 63, of Lubbock, passed away May 5, 2008. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 in the sanctuary of Shadow Hills Baptist Church. Dr. Randy Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mr. Wood was born Aug. 31, 1944 in Lubbock, to parents, Bertha and Sterling "June" Wood. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 35 years as a Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his mother, Bertha Wood, of Lubbock; his wife of 38 years, Linda Wood, of Lubbock; daughter and son-in-law, Kiffany and Jeff Landress of Littleton, Colo.; and his sister, Donna Ward and her family, of Arlington.
