Edmond F. Dalton, 76, of 39 Woodmere Rd., West Hartford, died Thursday at McCook Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford, he lived in this area all his life. Before his retirement, he was employed at the Hartford Post Office. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I and a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Helen L. Seraphin, of Hartford. The funeral will be Saturday at 8:15 a.m. at the Thomas F. Farley Funeral Home, 96 Webster St., with a Solemn Requiem Mass in St. Mark the Evangelist Church, West Hartford, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
