Obituary
Emma Jane Aldrich was born at Troy, Indiana, February 9, 1849. She came to Kansas in 1872 and lived for seven years at London, Kas. On February 26, 1879, she was married to Enos French Henderson, of Wellington. Of this union three children were born, a son, who died in infancy, and two daughters, Margaret Frances, now Mrs. John E. Fincher, of El Paso, Texas, and Permelia Anne, of Ft. Worth, Texas, who survive her.

Four sisters, Mrs. Lelia King, and Mrs. A.J. Turner, of this city, Mrs. Mary E. Chaney of Eddy, Okla., Mrs. L.C. Markley of Belle Plaine and one brother, W.A. Aldridge of Manchester, Ok., are also left to know her loss.

In 1889 Mrs. Henderson united with the Methodist church of which she was a member at the time of her death.

Mrs. Henderson made her home in Wellington until the death of her husband, six years ago today. Since that time she has made her home in Ft. Worth, Texas. On Tuesday, January 13, 1920, she passed away at Ft. Worth, Tex., aged 70 years, 11 months and 4 days.

Mr. and Mrs. John E. Fincher of El Paso, Tex., Miss Permelia Henderson of Ft. Worth, Tex., son-in-law and daughters of Mrs. Henderson and Mrs. L.C. Markley of Belle Plaine, sister of Mrs. Henderson were at her bedside when she passed away. They accompanied the remains to Wellington.

The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Lelia King, on North C street. Interment was made in Prairie Lawn cemetery. All of brother were here to attend the funeral services.
