At the age of 16, she was united in marriage to Evan Morgan Evans. To this union was born one little girl who died in infancy. Her husband died just a little over a year after their marriage.
At the age of about 22 she was again united in marriage to Pliney Draper. To this union 2 children were born, Charlie and Armattie. The last named died when about 2 1/2 years of age.
In the year 1873 she united with the Methodist Church at Plymouth. She ever lived a constant Christian life, died in the faith of her Lord and Savior. She was a kind and loving mother, ever willing to do her part and was highly esteemed by her friends and neighbors.
Her second husband having preceded her in death by about nine months, she leaves to mourn their lost son, Charley, one brother Charles Gurley, 9 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the Quaker Church by Rev. HB Shoaff of Hutsonville after which the body was laid to rest in the Guyer Cemetery.
