Daughter of John and Lou Ellis (Shackelford) Chambers.
Retired from RCA after 17 years. She had also worked as a cosmetologist for eight years.
Member of Sanders Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include:
4 sons, Kent Eads of Edwardsburg, Mich., Wesley Eads of Martinsville, Jack Donald Eads of Nashville and Stephen Eads of Smithville;
2 daughters, Carol Sue Sturgeon of Smithville and Polly Hurd of Columbus;
1 brother, John William "Bill" Chambers of Senic Hills, Pa.;
13 grandchildren,
21 great-grandchildren,
2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death:
Husband, Austin L. "Tony" Eads, in 1996;
4 sisters, Inez Stillions, Myrtle Deckard, Ollie Wilson and Vesta Chambers;
4 brothers, Earl Chambers, Robert Wayne "Brownie" Chambers, Emmett Chambers and Abner Chambers.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Bloomington.
