"Three weeks ago Mr. G.A. McKee of Mt. Selman died, and now the death of his faithful wife, who departed this life last Friday morning, and was laid to rest Saturday by the side of her husband in the Larissa cemetery. Mrs. McKee had been seriously ill for some time, and at the time of Mr. McKee's death was in a very critical condition having been deprived the privilege of ministering to his wants during his last hours.
Mrs. McKee was born in November 1844 and was married August 17, 1865, at Larissa. Her maiden name was Miss Virginia Ewing. She had lived at Mt. Selman for many years, and was known and loved by all the people for miles around. She leaves four sons and one daughter."
