Mrs. Heavilin was born June 23, 1921, in LeRoy. A daughter of Clyde E. and Abbie F. Lemmel McRae. She married George W. Heavilin on Dec. 17, 1938, in Hicksville, Ohio. He died August 18, 1978. Surviving are 11 sons, Delmar (Sharon) Heavilin, Gibson City; Donald (Katie) Heavilin, Gibson City; Larry (Florence) Heavilin, LeRoy; Raymon (Susan) Heavilin, Santee, Calif.; Kenneth (Ellen) Heavilin, LeRoy; Steven (Martha) Heavilin, Saybrook; Thomas Heavilin, Gibson City; David (Trudy) Heavilin, Strawn; Ralph Heavilin, Saybrook; Roger (Teresa) Heavilin, Saybrook; and Jerry Heavilin, Saybrook; two daughters, Dorothy (Bill) Lilienthal, Carlock; and Beverly (Allen) Baker, Sibley; 29 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, one brother and three sisters.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting and quilting. She was also known for ''pulling your leg'' and enjoyed making people laugh.
