Ilene Audette, 73 of Burlington went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 24, 1992. She was born in Ludlow on Dec. 11, 1918, the daughter of John O. and Georgianna (Dashner) White.

She graduated from Mount St. Mary's Academy and was a member of St. Joseph Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Ann Campbell and her husband, Norman, of Hatfield, Mass., Jean Hardy and her husband, John, of St. Albans, and Shirley Bessette and her husband, Jim, of Huntington; a son, Michael Audette of St. Albans; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John White of Charlotte, N.C., and Jim White of Big Bear Lake, Calif. She was predeceased by her husband, Rene; a daughter, June Gravelle; and a son, Peter Audette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 22 a.m. at Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 71 S. Union St., Burlington. Interment will follow in Holy cross Cemetery in Malletts Bay. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
