Son of John Thomas Farrow and Rosanna Waters.

Buried in the family cemetery somewhere on 80 acres of land in what was the southern division of DeSoto County, Mississippi that William Farrow sold to Edwin Waller on Jan. 19, 1852. The deed mentions the family cemetery. Rhoda and William are undoubtedly buried there, Rhoda having died sometime between their arrival there in 1840 and 1850. William having died in about 1853.

It is entirely possible that county lines changed after 1850. The 1850 census shows William as residing within the home of his son, Robert in Marshall County. Yet the 1852 land deed states that William was "of DeSoto" County. So, I suggest that the family resided in the same area all the time and that Rhoda died while the land was part of Marshall County; William dying after it had become part of DeSoto County.
